Saha Projects delivered remediation to an existing heritage boundary wall and constructed new covered walkways for an Inner West College. The works improved protection and movement through the site while responding to the character of the existing school.
The works took place within an active education environment and involved heritage fabric, structural steel, roofing and new masonry supports. The programme needed to account for student and staff safety, access controls and daily school operations.
The team planned work zones and sequencing around the school environment, coordinated the structural steel and roof installation, and managed the heritage wall remediation under the applicable heritage exemption pathway. Site communication and controlled access were maintained throughout delivery.
The school received remediated heritage fabric and new covered connections delivered within a controlled 12-week programme.
